Posted something elsewhere about this nifty device that my wife found for me, all randomly and everything. Great! Find one. Then buy a bomber and work on it for awhile and watch them stand up to time. Can anyone else vouch for the awesomeness of these? Simple. Easy. Effective! Sorry if this is old news to the rest of you. Cheers!

What am I lookng at? A bottle opener with a resealer? How does it reseal?

Interesting, but I like my handmade wine stoppers

Looks like some type of ancient torture device to me. She's a keeper!

Yes, I do think bottle openers are key to my enjoyment of bombers.

That works too! This one grabs the lip of the bottle along channels, and you drive the opener horizontally away from the opening end until you can't advance it, the red rubber provides the seal. Lame explanation sure, as it's best understood by experience. There are lots of ways to temporarily re-seal bottles, this just seeming one of the clever ways to engineer something to do this.

I think the key to bomber enjoyment is opening a bomber when you have the time to drink the entire bottle. I have not come across a resealing method that I can get behind.

Oh, not like this means it lasts for days. Just a little later.

It looks like the teeth could be used to cut through wax. The sealing function would be nice outside in the warmer months to keep bugs out of your bottle.

Not sure this is particularly helpful unless you can find some way to purge the oxygen first...
