I was pretty bummed when the last few were taken down as well. I understand the Bros not wanting the threads to get off topic but sharing pictures of beer seems pretty on topic to me. I am hoping it stays up and some more people share some quality shots.

I have a personal blog where I do little reviews and such, mostly just for fun, but I try to take a slightly above average photo using a crappy lightbox, but I'm no photographer. Here is a random example.

Fellow SC alum here (and Cinema minor) so I get what you're going after. It's second nature to want to compose shots, but I've found that I don't really have the resources in my house to get it right. Indoor lighting sucks and it sucks even worse on my camera phone. I have a decent T3i set up, but who wants to go through the downloading to my laptop for a beer of the day photo? I'm looking forward to getting decent photos for my blog come summer when I can use natural lighting again.

it got taken down quickly? I am still learning the ins and outs of what dictates a thread removal. I guess I didn't read the rules close enough. But I hope this follows the Beer discussion guidelines because it is definitely in regards to adventures of beer!

Great shot dude... and a Kings fan. good man!

p.s. if they want it to stay on beer topic.... A very high frame rate motion capture of pouring a beer in to a glass not only looks rad.... but it captures how the carbonation/beer/head behave at that moment which can also tell you quite a bit about that beer! Science, alcohol, photography all rolled in to one! Bill Nye would be proud.

I just recently decided I was going to try and bring my camera along with me instead of using my phone, it hasn't happened all the time (sometime I don't want to have to think about it). I also try and take a picture at home when I review something.

Sone seriously nice shots showing up. Don't get why these threads get deleted.

I'm about fifty-fifty. Will set up some nice shots, but also take crappy ones with my cell phone for Instagram. Will post some later if this thread stays up. Took some b&w film shots of beer related stuff while in Prague, too.

I love this picture! I came across it a while ago, it's actually what made me decide I should start photographing my beer experiences. You definitely need to keep the series going! AMAZING!

Yep - you know exactly where I am going with it. "Sensitive" processes, equipment, schedules, formulas... We even have to surrender our cell phones. Too easy these days.

I documented things but with cheap cannon power shoot a710, was the last camera I bought, it works for me.

I like photography too, but all the beer photos I see are pretty uninspired - no offense to anyone.
