    I saw yesterday that Relic is brewing a batch as well with this new Mosaic hop (they claim it has blueberry aromas). Lets see which of these awesome CT breweries can master it first!

    I've yet to try Mosaic but it is actually the daughter of Simcoe so I would think it may be closer to that than Citra.

    Mmm, Gold Stock indeed. Quite possibly my favorite beer they make, which is high praise indeed. If it's all gone by tomorrow I'm going to be pissed.

    I asked about FBD when I was at the brewery getting Gold Stock, apparently we can expect 1-2 more batches this year, 6-7 the following year.

    Maybe, but I doubt it for a couple reasons. First, they tend to be protective of beers they feel are particularly delicate and subject to rapid deterioration with age. Galaxy Pale Ale, Gold Stock, Fuzzy Baby Ducks are all beers they feel are best uber-fresh. Second, when a beer gets hype behind it and they know they can sell an entire batch in-house, they don't have much of an incentive to send it into distribution where they only get a wholesale price instead of a full retail one.

    If selling a few batches of FBD growler-only will pay for a the canning line they've been chasing for years now, then I say more power to them.

    Anyone know if there is any IST on the shelves in the Stamford area?

    No clue about Stamford, but stop off at BevMax in Norwalk. They have a ridiculous display of bottles towards the front of the store...
