Terrapin has a lot rolling in 2013. Some new beers, some old ones coming out of retirement, a new canning line, and a brand new brewhouse.

Most exciting of all - A white-chocolate moo-hoo and and a "French toasted" version of Wake N Bake.

As Terrapin is basically in my backyard, I'm looking forward to all of this.

Is this attitude really in the BA spirit?

You just have to buy enough Wake-n-bake to last you the year! lol...

I've bought around 3 cases total this year. So TASTY!

I'm definitely looking forward to the White Chocolate Moo-Hoo & The French toasted WnB!

    I love you Terrapin!

I wonder if these variants will be widely distributed or if it'll be just released around the Athens Atlanta area.

I'm hoping for distribution, but I will probably get stalled out.

I would give some attention to BA WnB... they need to get with the times

I pray pretty regularly for the day when the rest of the world will be able to purchase the "Only Available in Georgia" Golden Ale

They just don't have the capabilities for BA WnB. I think they responded to that on their FB page when someone asked about it.

As for the 2013 year, don't forget that they are also supposed to be bringing back Dos Cocoas for this year as well.

    Dos Cocoas
    WnB
    French Toasted WnB
    Moo Hoo
    White Chocolate WnB
    Maggie’s Peach Farmhouse

It is gonna be a GREAT year to be in a Terrapin distribution area, IMO.

If "French Toasted" WnB is the same as Spiked WnB that would be awesome.

Spiked is barrel aged, and for a long time, so if they can't do barrel aging, then I'd imagine this is at least somewhat different.

I spoke with Spike at an event at Aromas in Athens. He said they have a BA program under way.

I don't know if it's currently large enough to do a full scale BA beer that can reach throughout their distribution area.

I'm assuming right now they're still doing a solid bit of tweaking to get it all right. At the Aromas event they had a Moo Hoo aged in Prichards Double Chocolate Bourbon Barrells and it was legitimately one of the best BA stouts I've ever had. So I'm optimistic about their future.

They're also doing things like aging W-n-B on Peppermint Patties / Cherries / other tasty things for limited release. Not positive whether or not its in barrels... but damn I'm going to miss that stuff when I graduate and move away from Athens.

I find that to be total bullshit. There are far smaller breweries in the country with a barrel aging program. I think it's about desire, not capability.

Yeah, I'm going this weekend to a place with a cask of Moo Hoo aged on peanut butter banana coffee beans, I'm really looking forward to it.

And besides, once you graduate, just move somewhere that has awesome beer. I'll supply ya all the Terrapin you want then!
