Couldn't find Gandhi-Bot last time I was up there. I did find Sea Hag though, and that was pretty good.

DC Brau - The Public is my favorite go-to beer.

Oskar Blues announced it will be entering the Michigan market in Q1 this year. Cannot wait.

Best canned beer made in Michigan is from Brewery Vivant.

I've never seen 21st amendment in Michigan.

Heady Topper is about the best I've had from a can. I would love to see what proper glass aging would do for that beer. It would be even more phenomenal.

In order to avoid repeating, I'll say Ska ESB.

Haven't opened the Buffalo Sweat yet, but while in STL, we tried the Halcyon Wheat. Could very well become my favorite wheat beer, incredibly tasty indeed! I could not believe something so good came out of a can. (Guess I still am a little scarred from the BMC days of my youth:wink:)

Glass aging imparts a certain je ne sais quoi to the beer, often influenced by the type of glass and terroir of the silica used. I'm surprised a person of your forum posting prolificity isn't aware.

IPAs are generally not a type of beer people age, though.

Now that Dry Dock has a few of their beers in cans I'll go with their Apricot & Hefe. Both are GABF gold winners.

I'm curious why nobody mentioned Oskar Blues G'Knight. Especially since it's the highest rated readily-available beer by Oskar Blues behind Ten-Fidy...

Probably because it's not the best canned beer they've ever had.

Get a PDX trade partner and get the brews from Fort George Brewing. The OPA (Oatmeal Pale Ale) is my favorite canned beer ever, and their Vortex IPA is very good as well.
