Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout, Hopslam, Stone RIS, Not too sure if Arcadia's Hop Rocket was highly acclaimed but that was a terrible beer.

Against my better judgement I am drinking a Ruthless Rye again, and by Boy, this beer blows.

Yeah I know it's not overly well regarded, but I loathe it. Horrible combination of flavors. Citrate does not belong in this brew

Stone IPA; my palate is too new to craft beer to like something that hoppy.

P.S. You know you want to read this: www.thecraftbeerworld.com

I really don't care for Darklord as much as I thought I would. That said I will still drink one anytime, just not up
to all the hype I guess. I would like to try the other variations of it though.

    uh oh. here we go...

    HOTD Matt (acutally horrible)
    Wisconsin Belgian Red (Very Bad)

Now onto the solid-but nothing great about them brews...just plain underwhelmed by...

    Parabola
Dead Guy and Double Dead Guy
    Fat Heads Head Hunter
    Columbus IPA and Bohdi DIPA
    Bells 2 hearted
    Bells Hopslam
    Founders KBS
    Founders Breakfast Stout
    Stone IPA
    Rochefort 10
    Bruery Black Tuesday
    Selins Grove Phoenix Kriek
    Green Flash Silva Stout
    COAST Boy King
    Westvelteren 8
    East End Toaster
    Ithaca LeBleu
    Great Lakes Nosferatu

sure there's a pretty long list- BUT everyone's tastes are different and for most of the breweries listed above I like some of their other brews much much better than their most popular beer in the beer geek community. (ex. I love Founders Imperial Stout, Backwoods Bastard, and Centennial IPA- I just dont see the big deal with their coffee stouts)

I really like the difference of opinion- I am seeing Stone IRS and Nugger Nectar come up a lot- they are pretty much my two favorite easy to find-shelf beers

Parabola - Big FW fan, but it's never really worked for me.
Lost Abbey Angel Share (Brandy & Bourbon) - Simply too chalky for my tastes. Not pleasant.
Olde Hickory Death By Hops - Drain pour.
Devil Dancer - Not horrible, but I don't feel the love from this one the way my close beer geek friends do.

I was actually disappointed with '12 Abyss.

Parabola, BCBS on another level compared to Abyss IMO.
