Not terribly surprising, but Three Floyds is making another collaboration/tribute beer for a metal band. This time, Pig Destroyer. Via BeerPulse:

Thankfully not a bacon-infused pale. Foreshadowing for one of the Dark Lord Day bands this year?

The Municipal Waste beer hasn't come out yet, right? I will be bummed if I missed that one and it's sick label.

What are you guys talking about? Plenty of municipal waste has been released: Bully Guppy, Battle Priest, Busy Boyz, Formorian Princess, Region Riot, Calumet Queen, Booty Camp, Deesko!, Gorch Fock, Jinx Proof...

+1. Also Busy Boyz is a pretty damn good beer.

Like half of the beers listed are pretty solid beers.

Some people around these parts just don't like it unless it's acedic, barrel ridden, candy in a glass, or ridiculously hopped.

So stoked for this. Book Burner was one of my favorite albums of the year. Bonus points for the BB icons being on the label, negative points for the rest of the label looking kinda sloppy. But I'm really really excited regardless!

I was just saying this week how excited I'd be if PxDx played Dark Lord day ... alas, I can't make it this year ...

Book Burner is an excellent album. But I kinda wished they'd named the beer Terrifyer.

Sorry, but metal is moonshine and clear alcohol.
Only beer should be a high gravity chaser! Lol

I can totally see that happening. Not something I'd be all crazy hopped up for, but better than some of the past bands (though Powermad and High On Fire was kind of an old/new metalhead dream team). Now if they'd just book Amon Amarth for DLD......

Battle Priest was awesome but apparently I had the only good bottle. That whole thing just didn't make sense.
