Went to Wine 101 in Wake Forest after work today with the guys. They had a lot of great beers on tap. I had a Lagunitas Oregon Fusion, a Sam Adams New World, a Palate Wrecker, and then I had a few Jades from Foothills which I had never had before. Pretty damn fine afternoon.

 

I want that beer also...and your snifter.

 

Went to 3 Floyds today.

I am saving my second bottle of Flower Power for a friend to try....to take my mind off that last bottle I've moved on to this 1/25/13 bottled Nugget Nectar. Such an awesome beer, gorgeous amber color on this beauty. So lucky to have access to pallets of the stuff.

I tried so hard to like it, but i just couldn't. It didn't work for me.

 

I've only had Hunahpu twice, but it is my #1 beer of all time. Wish I could figure out a way to get a whole bottle, but I will take any chance to get an ounce or two at a tasting.

 

Allowing a bomber of Espresso Oak Aged Yeti to warm a bit and can't wait to dive in. Haven't had this in awhile and was blown away the last time I had it a year or so ago.

Friday. Finally. Time for a beverage or two. An oldy but goody. Can Lagunitas do no wrong? It ain't Sucks but it's a-ok.

Starting with a bottle of Hoppyum tonight . . . an underrated IPA. Worth seeking out if you're in NC.

Taste is subjective. This beer is really hot right now. I'm going to age one and see what a little time will do to this one.
