Shared a bottle of this last week and didn't care for it. Definitely wouldnt pay what it's going for on draught or bottle.

    Loved the XIV.

They obviously are clueless...good thing not all the Specs beer guys in the Austin area are morons. I was told by Sunrise that next week is what they are being told. "Next week"...where have I heard that before...?

Specs Brodie has gone to shit since Ruben left. They're quite arrogant (or at least Dan is) and will freely badmouth every other beer dept. member from his own store, to every other Austin area store. Needless to say, they could have dark lord for $2 a case and I probably still wouldn't shop there. (I would; however, have no problem having someone else pick it up for me I guess).

Specs Houston just posted on Fb that they have the Old Raspy XV in (assuming at the central location). No word if this means Austin stores will have it soon too

As of 12:15pm they still had at least 4 bottles on the shelf. One less than they did at 12:14pm. (asssuming you mean Growler Beer & Wine on Waugh).

Spec's Smith had on Saturday morning. My pops, who enjoys craft beer but only discovers them at the local pizza shop, picked up one and bragged about it to some length. I managed to pick up a few too....looking forward to it cooling down.

That's what I'm thinking...at least giving it some months before opening the first one.
