I only call it 'drinking' because there's beer in it.

Pulled slab bacon braised in a maple syrup and Brooklyn Brown reduction (which became the sauce). Served on Hawaiian bread 'slider' rolls. Pretty happy with the sweet and salty result. One per guest unless you sign a waiver.

Being Italian, that comes as no surprise since it's Europe's "Football". This year's Super Bowl means nothing to me (unfortunately)...no Colts, no Bronco's...hope the commercials are killer entertaining as always because that's the only thing keeping me interested this year. (I apologize to all 49'er and Ravens fans for being indifferent.)

I like this version of "beers on the wall". First time having Gandhi-Bot and it did not disappoint.

Happy to have some great IPA offerings available in New England right now including these two, HF Arthur, Maine Beer Company's Lunch, Harpoon's Leviathon Imp IPA, and Revival's dbl black IPA.

Back to brewing a homebrew IPA based on SN Celebration. Hopefully into the fermenter before the SB begins...

Long time lurker, first time poster. Starting off with a Bell's Winter White Ale, which is a nice changeup from my usual winter favorites. Bringing out the big boys (and hopefully accompanying pictures) during the Super Bowl. Cheers, BA'ers!

Not at all. Really disappointed. Was flat and tasteless. Of course, to hear it told, the taste wasn't all that good to begin with. Anyways, still glad to have tried it.

Just popped the cap on a Hopslam. On deck: Schlafly AIPA, Founders Imperial Stout and Porter. Might do a double on one or more of these depending on how the evening goes.

    Prost!

Tis very true my friend and the Italia word for it is "calcio" which means kick.

I had a very sad experience when I watched the Euro Cup last year when Spain and Italy played. The pub I went to the first and last time had some jokers betting on the game which I find repulsive and yes this happens in Italy too. But it is sad for people like me who put on soccer shoes and play with heart. Again, I do not think that because I have a standard that others have to conform to this idea but it was still saddening. I just left the pub and never looked back.

Depends on your "style" of chile. Mexican mole sauces use chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, etc so some porters/stouts could work. They will have a much greater influence on the flavor than lighter beers obviously.
