I think it is better than all the lighter versions of all those beers. But in comparision to the hopslam I am currently drinking it is Godawful. Playa de la Cruz is the worst beer I have ever tried.

I could get a bomber of hop stoopid for less than that

i think people are missing the point of this thread; it's what cheap beers do you buy to get buzzed off, not "what craft beer do you ordinarily like to get buzzed off?" lol :stuck_out_tongue:

convict hill oatmeal stout by independence. at 9% and 6.50 a 4 pack here, it makes for a great night. couple that with southern star pine belt pale ale also at 6.50? add the cost of smokes in, im lookin at 20 bucks, some netflix and a hell of a time.

I saw this today for $1.99. They must be having a hobo sale.

A cheap buzz for me is an intense 60 minutes cardio workout followed by basically anything I drink.

Big Flats is the cheapest beer available and not anywhere near the worst beer I've ever tried. It's surprisingly inoffensive. I'll even take it over most other macros.

That being said my cheap beer of choice has got to be Old Milwaukee.

I go Tuckerman's Pale Ale for something decent or the High Life if I'm trying to impress!

    Long Trail Double Bag

EDIT: Just to be clear, this beer isn't "cheap." It's very well made, but is typically less expensive than other sixers around and it is strong abv wise.

Here in NH, my "go to" brew is Smuttynose IPA. The local markets carry 12 pks for $12.99 and sometimes put them on sale for $11.99. You can not beat that. Harpoon and Sam are also offered at the same price but the finestkind is better and will throw you for a loop faster if that's what you're looking to accomplish!!

Three shots of Jack. Chase it with something you like. Boom. You're buzzed and you're drinking something solid.
