I wish RR's Hill 2/Row 56 was an annual release. That is some goddamn refreshing beer.

I suggest unglueing yourself from that IPA/stout trap. Once you do you'll find refreshing beers everywhere. That might sound antagonistic, but its not.

i'm a big fan of Maine Peeper... very drinkable, but a little pricy. Boat beer is also quite refreshing, but i doubt available in TX.

Good suggestions, thanks. I will add my newest find DB Vienna Lager. I just discovered DB, Devils Backbone a couple of months ago. Their Vienna Lager has a crisp fresh taste that is perfect for parties and ball games.

I'm thinking a nice cold Jabby Brau from Jack's Abby will do the trick.

Jack's Abby makes some very tasty light, refreshing session beers.

Their Wheat Lager and Jabby Brau are both exceptionally crisp and light on the stomach.

EDIT: Southern Tier Live is also a very tasty and AFFORDABLE pale ale. Only $4 for a 22oz bottle? YES PLEASE!

Great Lakes Brewing Co. - DORTMUNDER GOLD, it has very clean taste that makes it very refreshing. I would compare it to a Molson Canadian with a more refined taste that holds up at any temperature.

I really like that beer, but at 5.5% it's a little strong to be truly refreshing in my book. I'd be happier if they tuned it down a notch.

The small liquor store near my house recently started carrying Left Hand Polestar Pilsner. That's my go-to now when I want something easy to drink.
