such disparity...Im allowed to buy 1 six pack a day in boston.

Had my first last night. I honestly feel like last years was better...but it might be too early to make this call. This is in second place of the big six seasonal six pack releases to come out in the last month or so.

1. Sucks
2. NN
3. Hopslam

 

Was at Wegman's at 8am this morning, Julios at 9. Wegman's has a shitton of it......$44 a case, 2 case limit (this was not posted, but I didn't want to make a stink about it). Julio's came out to $48.19 a case, so they must be doing a slight case discount for it. Julio's had about 1/3 as much as Wegman's. Weg's display still looks like the pic posted above. So, everyone probably has at least a few more days to get it I would suppose.

 

forgot, case dates for both were best till 5/29/13, so it would be safe to assume these are 1/29 bottle dates as someone had suggested above

 

I agree, I am not happy with this years. Before everyone goes out and buys cases I would get a six pack first to try it. I got one six pack, that is all I am getting and I'll get more Lagunitas Sucks instead.

 

For this reason I couldn't just buy a full NN case..

 

Kappys on Rt 1 has some for 12 and some change. Kappys Medford is expecting tomorrow I believe....

 

I completely agree. I had a few last night and it seems very different. Not as much of a hop bite. The flavor is just OFF. I just had one a few minutes ago and still it really seems very off to me. Ill grab another 6er or something from another location but other than that I still see Sucks floating around!

 

so central mass got 1/29 bottles and boston, south shore got 1/14 bottles.

 

Just picked up a 6pk bottled 1/30/13 at Blanchards JP. $12.99. Had about 25 cases.

 

Gasbarro's in Seekonk got 16 cases today. $12.99. When I left there were 15 [I bought 3/4-case]

 

Indeed I can confirm this. They had just arrived when I walked in the door around noon. Most exciting day of the year so far.

 

Gordon's in Waltham (the Main St. location) got maybe 10 cases of Nugget Nectar today. They also got in a new shipment of Sucks and (as far as I know), the first Boston-area shipment of Weyerbacher's Last Chance IPA, which I've been hoping to try for awhile. Bring on the blizzard, I'm well-stocked.

 

I talked to my Craft rep yesterday when it came in and per the Troegs rep its one drop, then Bombers in a couple weeks.

 

Off as in offensive or off as in different tasting from last year? I'm hesitant to pick up a sixer now.

 

And I saw about 10 cases over at Pembroke Center Liquors, bottled 1/17 I believe.
