Woooowwww. It's going to be an expensive Spring and Summer between all these releases and the gas to get there and back...

Is it safe to say both variations of Damon will be released at the same time?

More likely than not, they will be released "when they are ready." It is quite possible they could be released at the same time. Since the advent of the bottle release schedule on the HF website, the months and dates listed have rarely been set in stone. All depends on how long the beer takes to develop to what Shaun envisions it to be...

Yea this certainly makes sense...but I def want to go up there for both, and would be much easier on my wallet if I didnt have to go up twice in the same month...but if I do then so be it. :astonished:

Fear and Trembling on the shelf (via HF FB and Twitter). If anyone's heading to HF and coming down for EBF and also looking for fresh Hopslam BM me. I'd love a couple bottles or F&T and would def trade Hopslam.

Reserve society details at embracethefunk.com. Glassware availability is on the retail shop tab of their website. Come on, people... Use google!

I talked with Shawn at the Birth of Tragedy release. He mentioned that they might be releasing new glassware and showed me a picture on his phone. More of an oversized flute if I remember correctly. Perhaps the end of the stemmed globe, or just an extension of their offerings?

Heading up to VT in March, and OF COURSE I'll be there the only 3 friggin days of the week they are closed. Anyone interested in an IP trade? Nothing big, but Im hoping for a Damon. I know, with a one-per-person limit, its a longshot, but hoping someone could have a friend meander in after them and grab an extra. I'd do whatever I could to make it worth the effort. At the very lease, some glasswear and a few Arthurs! Ill be in Waterbury for most of the Duration of March 17-19.

Probably heading back up in the Summer too, looks like July will be the month to go. Fingers crossed for reserve memberships!

    From article:
"Members receive 12 bottles total, 1 from each of 12 different releases. I think cost will be $400."

400/12 = 33 per bottle. Yikes! I'd probably still do it if I had the opportunity.

It's pretty funny they are doing a 'reserve society' and are talking about shipping bottles when they barely even distribute bottles locally. Heck the past 4-5 limited bottles that were put on shelves lasted several weeks each.

I'm not sure why HF are intent on catering to the 'loyal fans' - whatever that means, besides the $$?

There are plenty of 'loyal fans' aka the ones drinking all the draft product in bars in VT that would love to be thrown a bone and have some bottles be distributed locally with any regularity.
