First thing that comes to mind is an 07 Vertical Epic from Cuzco back in the spring of 2010. Was also pleasantly surprised recently when djmichaelk included a KBS as an extra in a second box he sent for our trade (after already having included good extras in the first box).

Firestone Walker X as an extra about 2 years ago. I received FW 12 and Beatification in the same trade.

There's a story behind it which almost justifies it.

I hope you marked him down on the "do not trade with again". I can't believe someone would do that to a fellow beer lover. Some people can be such jerks.

HopHead84 buried me with extras yesterday. A White Chocolate was the best of the bunch, but all of them were insanely awesome.

laymansbeerfan extra'd me a New Glarus Serendipity and a Central Waters BBCS (along with a bunch of other good stuff), both of which I'm really excited about.

Rare- I got it when it first dropped, was on shelves, and was only $35-40. Best I've sent? Waxed Bud Platinum, or my English barleywine homebrew.

Having received the english barleywine from you, I would agree on it's awesomeness!

Nothing yet! Sadly I'm still trying to complete my first trade (hopefully for a cherry rye)! I completed a squares pool and sent s box with many different locals that wad in excess of the minimum oz by quite a bit. I like the cool idea of local extras. Not necessary but definitely a nice touch at the end of a smooth transaction.

Very Mad Cow and a Big Black Voodoo Daddy recently....nothing spectacular but both bottles I would have never tried if not and both were very appreciated.
