Just poured my 2nd wake-n-hoo or moo bake, whatever you want to call it. Hoping this will take the pain away from a day of shoveling snow.

    Same picture as before.

Even as a mad Metallica fan, that might be the best speed metal tune of all time IMHO. Cheers, bro!

Now onto St. Bernadus Tripel and definitely realize my nose is starting to fail. Totally amazed at the massize differences in flavor profiles from one to the next. So far this one is the most spice forward and then the fruit comes in and then in the end back to a spicy twang. What a great night so far and by far I am becoming a fan of the tripel craze.

Good evening BAs! Starting off with my last Smitten. Definitely one I'll pick up again next year to cure the winter doldrums. This isolated drum track from John Bonham is sweet. Cheers all!

2010 Abyss. I wanted to verify my initial impressions, but now I know, for me, the 2011 and 2012 vintages are a step behind.

This is great, don't get me wrong. However, this is my lease favorite of Tyranena's imperial porters and was hoping for greater spice. It was this or 3Beans and I've got some remorse.

This is fantastic. Definitely a bit underrated at an 88 in my opinion.
