Home after a long day of activities...9 mile training run...tubing at the local skiing hill...kids bball games...Now enjoying a BCBS and watching Blues Hockey. Still have some cold Hopslam also. Cheers!

Now onto a Midnight Sun XXX Black double ipa! It's such an interesting beer with its mostly toasty notes and then hitting with the citrusy hops. Midnight Sun has been surprising me lately, I wanted a stout and an ipa tonight, this one is kinda taking care of both cravings

 

Next up...fresh Sculpin! But honestly after the Palate Wrecker, a ruthless rye would probably taste as good lol
Still got another Palate Wrecker in the fridge...I'm crazy tempted to drink it but I think I'd enjoy it more if wasn't already buzzed up!

 

Had to crack open one of those 2010's I mentioned finding earlier

Just came back from The Avenue Bar in Allston. Had Lost Abbey Serpent Stout, Stone Cali Belgique, Troegs Mad Elf, and Weihenstephaner Hefe

 

Jealous...can't blame you on that though, I would be doing the same thing! Enjoy!

Pretty fruity at this point

 

My golden retriever smiles from ear to ear when I walk him in the snow and Hop Devil was the first beer to blow me away and ask myself why I didn't start drinking IPA's 10 years earlier. I'd put fresh Hop Devil up against anything.

 

Cracked my last bottle of Twilight tonight and split with the lady. Seemed like an appropriate night, as it branded as a winter porter and our day could not get much more "winter".

 

Yeah...switching up glassware as we speak

 

Trained help comes in handy when you start your own nano brewery. It's cool that he's interested in your hobby/passion.

How much snow did you get hit with? We got around 8 inches but from what I hear your area got 2 feet or more. Hope you are making out alright.

 

I'd take your glass with you if you have to take a whiz 'cause it may not be there when you get back!!

 

Drifts made it hard to judge but I walked out into the woods and measured between 31-33 inches in my backyard. Driveway drifts in areas were closer to 40.
