Starting off with a Big City Jamaica Stout. I had high hopes for this one, but it fell short for me.

Brewed a Half batch of Dunkelweizen this afternoon. WLP300, and I will be racking it onto sweet orange peels and cinnamon sticks next week. I have them sitting in vodka right now.


First time having an actual German Kolsch(had plenty of American examples). This is damn good. Very clean and balanced, with plenty of bread and fruity esters.


This is a really nice Belgian Golden. Nice balance and complexity of fruity esters with earthy spiciness. Very smooth sipping

Some Simcoe Sillier from my new Kuhnhenn goblet. Big thanks to michibrew for sending both in a recent trade. This stuff was awesome. It was the perfect beer for a one beer Sunday night.

 

You know that 3Beans has three beans, and FBS has two, right?

 

How is it? Been close to pulling the trigger.

 

I will have to check Under the Banner of Heaven. I started Into Thin Air years ago before I read Into the Wild.

 

My buddy brought over some stuff, then he go so drunk that he couldnt drive home. So I did the good friend thing (since he brought Hopslam just to give me), I drove his sloppy drunk ass home and walked back to my apartment.

i had too many beers today, im sucking down water now. Some nice Jimi blues is setting the mood too.

 

Too lazy to get my camera. Founders 2011 Backwoods Bastard. So much better with some time on it.

 

No more beer for me tonight, just some hot chocolate with a dose of coffee and a splash of bourbon to cap my night. Probably will do some reading before I hit the sack, but it's been a long weekend and the next couple of weeks are going to be hectic, so this is a nice way to relax right now.
