Last night's nightcap..... It was okay - good, not great.

 

Went to post this last night at 1am and the site was down. Good to see it up and running.

Nothing right now. Im waiting for a box to land on my doorstep. If that happens before noon ill have one as soon as i open it

Schlafly Tripel is one of my favorites of the style. Loved that beer!

 

Ok..I just windexed down the old workplace and put some things in order. It's cleaner but there are still sharpie marks that are a pain to get out.(at least I was able to get the imp stout spray off wild bill) I'll post up a pic later. Cheers!

Actually I love this beer, but I think its better fresh. This has been out for what...something like 6 months now?

Actually this beer got me fired from my last job. It was a beautiful October afternoon, and I had the day off. I drank 2 of these bad boys, and the turtle on the label gave me inspiration. So I grabbed my guitar, threw it in the car, and drove over to the store I worked at. I had played outside my store all the time, until we had this new asst. manager start working there. He hated me. I hated him. So I'm sitting on a park bench outside playing, and he waddles out (cause hes fat) and tells me to pack it up and leave or he's calling the cops. So I told him to go fuck himself and his fat mother. Yes the cops arrived, but I had left.

And thats the story of how Monk's Revenge got me fired on my day off. But I was so happy to leave that miserable job, I was ready. And the next day I got hired at the beer store I'm currently working at, and I love it there. Sometimes things happen for a reason. Thanks Terrapin.

Last night: I took ten days off of drinking, and had an epic and delicious return, thanks to the Stone bistro. Had a four ounce pour of Stonewall Ale, then an eight ounce pour of Double Bastard 2005 (awesome!), then later had dinner paired with extremely fresh Ruination.
