Kuhnhenn Blueberry Eisbock Release

I like low fills. They typically empty those into tasters and bring them to the bar and give away. Or at least they did when I was there and they were bottling bb4d. Yum.

The Michigan Beer Guide ad says "presenting Michigan Mud & Blueberry Eisbock release party. A surprise new bottle release unveiling and" blah blah blah about the barbecue guy.

 

I wouldn't go off that ad as it is out of date. Whatever they post on Facebook should be what they're releasing.

 

Fair enough. Also, they probably forgot about the other bottle release.

It's in the back with the rest of the BB4D, Raspberry Eisbock from a few years ago and more BBBW.

Just got a bit of info if someone is interested. There is a store at 12 mile and I94 that is selling Raspberry Eisbock bottles for $40 each. Those in the area should know which store I'm referring too. What a joke.

 

What is this store you speak of?

 

Don't want to name names....just go to 12 mile and I94 and you'll see it.

 

Google it. It'll be the first store that comes up. EVERYTHING is overpriced there. Badly overpriced at that. Personally, i would just wait until Kuhnhenn actually releases the raspberry again, unless you feel comfortable spending $40 on a 6oz bottle. Or, just wait until next week at WBF and you will be able to get a pour of KRE (at least thats what the mash says).

$40 for 6 oz is crazy. So is $30 for 13 oz, but they will sell out of the blueberry tomorrow. Supply and demand. And so it goes.

 

Dude, I did a side job there about a year ago....you wouldn't believe the hotness this guy has in the back. Multiple cases of Bell's batch 2000-8000, Cases of bourbon County Bombers, the Eisbock, Cantillion..it just goes on and on. Problem is he refuses to sell any.

 

And you will see this store on the news tomorrow. "beer store robbed!"

 

Sounds like a fun challenge to try and get some.

I tried explaining to him that after a while beers do go bad no matter what. He didn't want to listen.

 

You can get stuff there, it is just at 250% markup. Screw Embassy.

 

You'd probably have better luck then me. Just throw on something scantily clad and go flirt with him.

 

Telling you man I begged him to just sell me one bottle of the bells batch 2000-8000 and he completely refused. The only thing he agreed to sell me is SA triple Bock and Bells eccentric ale singles...which he has multiple cases of each. I still have that eccentric I got off him...figured it out to be from 1996. Just not sure what to do with it. lol
