Definitely would rather put money towards KBS than this if I had to choose.

It's really about the same price it was in 2007. It does not hurt any less, but just sayin'. They told me the cost to brew and the labor involved and I was surprised. A lot goes into these beers in materials, labor costs and storage costs. Not to mention market value

I'm glad both will be on tap! 6oz of Raspberry and then off to work!

I'm wondering if it will be around the same price per ounce on tap, hoping that isn't the case but wouldn't be surprised. $60 for 24 oz of beer is outrageous, but what's even crazier is people will be lined up to buy it having never tasted it. Hail the hype.

Depending on how much they bottled, I wouldn't be surprised if this lasted to Sunday. At $30 per bottle, with a one bottle allocation, you're not going to have the Chicago contingent to deal with. Especially when you factor in the 9 hour round trip drive + $80 in gas, you suddenly realize that you're in $140 for essentially 25.4oz of beer. Not worth it.

    Blueberry is around 154-157 bot
Blueberry will be around 154-157 bottles tops. I'm not sure on Raspberry since they made much more, but some will be reserved to kegs for future festivals etc. Mud is very limited due to the grain bill. Absolutely no idea on the new barleywine.

Taps are limited to 6oz one person on the honor system. Hopefully people have enough courtesy to respect it and allow everyone to enjoy it. Blueberry is a single half barrel I believe. Don't hold me to that, i'm just passing along what they told me. Cheers.

With the one 6oz pour of this nectar, I want to drink Raspberry and try Blueberry. I wonder if I could just get a sip..

Cool, hopefully I'll get to try one down the line. It blows my mind that their Facebook isn't being flamed for their bottle cost like 3 Floyds is consistently for their BA weekly releases. The cost per ounce is higher than Rare and Bourbon/Brandy Vanilla Dark Lord.

They are using the same pricing as as 2007 release pretty much. Still painful but it is what it is.

Could you buy more than just one 6oz bottle in 2007? It might be easier to handle if I could try it more than just once. I would be more apt to pony up $15 for a 6oz if you could buy 2+.

I was $13 and was easily available. On store shelves as well. It was before craft beer exploded. It was on tap around town on a rare occasion as well. Roast for example.

Also don't mistake me as arguing your point. It is expensive and priorities come first. No offense meant
