Its for sure in the bay area, have yet to see but placed my order and DBI, the local distributer has it in stock and promises it will show up Tuesday. They do not have any of the new glassware to go with it yet.

Had my first last night. Not what I expected, def not a hop bomb that I would have expected from these two breweries. Very easy to drink and a little sweet.

I've seen it... It arrived in Northern California on Friday. You should start to see soon.

With this being a hoppy beer you probably don't wanna sit on it too long. I would say 15-20 min. after you buy it is probably long enough :stuck_out_tongue:

Had this Friday night. As i thought it would be a lot more of a hop bomb given the two breweries profiles but it wasn't. Still all in all I thought it to be a great brew still

Echo everyone saying it was not a hop bomb, more bready/yeasty than I would have ever guessed, definitely leaves an interesting hop zing on the tongue that is a little different than I have had before. Bitter but slightly sour if that makes any sense. Glad I tried it but at the price I probably would not seek out again. Beer pours one of the thickest, fluffy and resilient head I've seen in a log time.

I had a couple glasses on tap a few days ago ($6 for 10 oz) and it was fantastic. I saw bottles today for $14.59 so I grabbed one of those too. I'll drink it tomorrow when my DFH/SN IPA glass arrives in the mail. Awesome.

The reviews seem to point to this brew being a bit of a letdown. I haven't had it yet so I can't say one way or the other, but for a dIPA, the reviews are definitely pushing me in the direction of not actively seeking it out (especially at the price tag). A common theme in the reviews is how much is doesn't taste like a dIPA (although it echoes the sentiments of a few posters on here in that it's still "a very decent beer otherwise").

Its worth trying if you don't have to go too far out of your way to get it. I definitely preferred drinking the six pack of nugget nectar though!

Picked one up in Boston on Friday for $16. I'm glad I tried it, but it was a let down for me. Not hoppy and not what I would expect from a DIPA. It came across very bready with a sweet finish. Definitely an interesting flavor, but I wouldn't buy it again...definitely not at that price. In short: worth trying, but don't set your expectations too high.

The biggest thing thing that threw me off is that Sam mentioned it would be more hoppy than their 60 or 90 minute in his preview video

This basically seems to be the consensus. And at $15 for a 750, I think I'll pass. I was expecting a super hoppy, interesting dIPA, especially given (as another poster has already mentioned) how Sam described it in the video, leading us to believe it would be a super hop-forward brew. This doesn't seem to be the case, and though it sounds interesting, there's plenty of other stuff I'd rather buy for way cheaper that I know I'm going to like.

Had it at the brewery and from a bottle purchased at the brewery. I thought it was excellent.

This beer let me down BIG TIME. I was expecting something really different considering the use of the new experimental hops. It was smooth but VERY bland. No in your face hop aroma or flavor. I'd take a bottle of 60 min or Torpedo any day over this.

I felt exactly the same way.

Was really happy to see this on the shelves by me so I grabbed it and while it was good, it didn't have that Torpedo or good DFH kick to it I was expecting.
