I've heard two rumors of Bruery coming to TX this past week. Anybody heard similar stories?

Live Oak Music Hall hinted at a secret SoCal brewery that was about to be on its way..and not Firestone Walker. Shawn at the FW Saucer said it point blank that he had heard it was the Bruery when he saw me in a RShoodie.

I didn't press either for details on who offered them that info but if its not the Bruery then who?

alpine and bruery are both going through or have gone through expansions... maybe both!! lol. or alesmith, or lost abbey?

I hear Alpine is tough to come by even in southern Cali but the Bruery or Alesmith or possibilities at some point...both distro to the east coast already. Maybe just wishful thinking right now though...

Oh yea I remember seeing that now at some point...but still to be fair, it does say that the expansion could possibly enable them to distribute to northern California. Think Texas is still a LONG way away from getting Alpine distro. Never had the privilege of sampling any of their beers...hear nothing but great things.

    Shhhhhhh

Live Oak did send some of their staff there for a week so it would make sense. Tony is one lucky bastard btw.

He posted a bunch of pics with that "mystery". Included a crap ton of Russian River pics but that's a pipe dream.

Shawn knows his stuff as well so if he says its a rumor he has wasn't just talking to talk. I had a chance to rummage around their long term storage as well. They have a full set of the Real Ale M.V. series left over..I know where I'm heading for the Zombie Apocolypse.

Alpine is doubtful...they only have accounts in LA and SD. This expansion probably only gets them into the rest of Cali, AZ, NV, and maybe OR.

I would guess Bruery as well...which would be a treat.

The Bruery is already on the east coast (at least the Maryland/DC area). I could easily see them coming to TX....it is not like they are only expanding next to places they already are.

October of last year. I actually went to the Asia forum yesterday (since I am heading to Cambodia and Laos in a couple of weeks) and commented on your post in there since I saw it.

Glad I got there when I did...I can see that place being overrun (more than it was then) with tourists really soon.
