    These were leftover bottles from what they brought to GABF. It was a different batch than what was released at the beginning of 2012.

    I'm ready to propose that we follow this rule from now on for all new FFF BA beers with some sort of fruit variant so long as we all agree that this will undoubtedly spur the question as to why it's listed as 'wick' from time to time. Do we have a second?

    I cannot check any out of company emails at work except for BA I love it !!!
    Lets just say they are a tad bit over protective but somehow BA flies under the radar

    Did all these have bottle counts labeled on the bottle? My bottle of BA Black Sun with Cherries doesn't have a bottle number directly on the bottle. Just curious where these numbers came from.

    That's what I thought. I didn't think it was the same batch as the early 2012 release. Thanks for clearing that up.

    Either way its not a BA version so it doesn't belong on this list anyways :slight_smile:

    The last several releases did not have bottle counts on the bottle. Reliable sources at FFF have confirmed that bottle counts will return with upcoming releases, however. The data you see above are community aggregated counts pulled at the time of purchase by BAs asking how many bottles have been produced of a particular variant. The bottle counts are publicly released bottles, and do not include those held back for friends, employees, and wolf riding dragon slaying owners.

    Most came from numbering on the labels. For those few that did not have that, I tried searching the interwebs and BA for a seemingly reliable number.

    Makes sense. Personally I like the hand-numbered bottles as it gives an accurate bottle count, however I dig the way you went about establishing these aggregated "generally agreed upon" bottle counts. I also like what your doing with this thread. I had always wished that whoever was the first to create the beer on BA would not only provide more of an accurate description for these releases but also include the bottle count in the beer's notes.

    Resolution passes.

    From this day forth, all new BA releases from FFF with fruit shall be designated as <BA release> 'wick' <fruit>.

    Entered into BA law Wednesday, 20 February 2013.
