Bell's Two Hearted for me... Everybody raves on this beer, and I guess my tastebuds just don't get it. I'm more in line with the "bros" tastes on here apparently than on ratebeer. The bros gave it a 78 (average) rating and I couldn't agree more. I like a little abrasive alcohol burn in my beers, but Two Hearted to me just tastes abrasive because it is imbalanced. I've also heard this beer doesn't age well at all, so I could have had a bad batch?

Backwoods Bastard I find to be the least complex, least balanced, and least enjoyable I have thusfar had

Wookie Jack....smells way better than it tastes. Not that its bad but I was expecting much more. I tried it twice from two different bottle batches. Missed it on tap.

    Enjoy

...weird ...some ppl just dont dig catpiss i guess
in my world 2012 was okay but kinda boring; it was certainly more "balanced" which is a polite way of saying "impotent"
2013 was bonkers stinky and therefore much more exciting to drink.

Smutty Finest Kind has "whelmed" me about as much as Bell's Two Hearted. Both decent at best, but I don't get all the love for them. For the same $, I can get many waaaaaaay better IPA's.

Founders Backwoods Bastard. The bourbon taste was entirely too overwhelming.

Nugget Nectar was the big one. I at least expected something that made me want to run back and buy more before it ran out. Nope. One sixer was enough.

I do not understand that the words "Sucks" and "Sucaba" are appearing in this thread. There must be some kind of mistake.

Zombie Dust. I liked it but I think something more widely available like Stone pale is just as good.

much agreed, the next time I want my beer to taste exactly like pumpkin pie, I'll have this, oh wait . . . I'll never have this again.
