I love porters! I enjoy lagers, porters/stouts, and dry ciders. I'm interested in exploring meads and braggets also. I don't like heffeweizens or IPAs. I have a fondness for higher gravity beers. I consider 5%-7% ABV to still be sessionable beers and will sometimes drink as many as three 24oz 8% ABV Straight to Ale's "Intimidator" during a hockey game.
Loves: Porters, milk-stouts
Like: Lagers, dry ciders, ales, stouts,
Dislikes: Heffeweizens, IPAs, Sours
Oscar Blue Brewing Company "Ten Fidy"
Straight to Ale "Intimidator," and "Lilly Flagg"
Rogue "Mocha Porter"
I (want to) brew porters. I am in the very early learning stages of all-grain-brewing. So far, it has been a borderline disaster, but progress continues. I'm doing single gallon batches as I learn the process and refine techniques.
New to trading (waiting for my 30 days before I can post!)... I live in Alabama. Law changes in 2012 have opened up us up to the world of craft brews! Please contact me if you are looking to try some Southern brews (particularly Straight to Ale, Blue Pants, and Old Black Bear) and want to trade for regional brews from your area!
These are beers I would like to get, but they aren't sold in my area.
Regular, wide release
Great Lakes "Edmund Fitzgerald"
Great Lakes "Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout"
These are some local brewers. I'd be happy to pick up to trade any of their beers that are available from my local liquor store at the time.
