  • About

I grew up in Vermont and was spoiled by the expansion on microbrews. From the state I enjoy Harpoon (if you want to call it a VT beer), Switchback, Trout River, Shed, Rock Art, some Otter Creek, some Magic Hat, and love the Heady Topper.

I am a hoppy beer fan, think Flower Power, or a cascade hop based beer. I do switch it up for the season, during the fall I will have some pumpkin and a variety of Octoberfest beers. During the Winter I gravitiate towards the darker beers including stouts/porters, I do love the celebration ale by Sierra Nevada. Spring beers lighten up for me, brown ales and some maple beers. Summer beers are refreshing but I seem to have a row of IPA's year round.

Living in Massachusetts we have a decent selection at our microbeer stores, but we need musch better distribution from other states. I look forward to the day when we can have the opportunity to pick beers from all over the country.
