Martin Lopez has been working as an entrepreneur for ten years. He is a founding partner of and Director of Communications for Teleradiology After Hours, LLP, a nighthawk radiology office providing service to eight hospitals and six clinics across south Texas. He is also a writer, seeking representation for a novel. He has studied in the PhD Creative Writing Program of the University of Houston, where he won the Donald Barthelme Prize in Fiction, in 2001. He has an MFA from American University. He served as Nonfiction Editor of Gulf Coast Magazine from 1998 to 2000. His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Fake City Syndrome, Writers’ Forum, and elsewhere.
