    Birthday:
    October 21
    Location:
    Maine
A Native Mainer who spent his childhood out east, his highschool years in Arizona, and blossomed into an adult in California. I have now returned to Maine, and I have no idea what to do now.
I'm a self-proclaimed rockstar, I work in a beer shop, and sometimes I can be funny.
I am SierraNevallagash. Drinker of many beers. Cheers.
    Hey that rhymed.

Likes include fluffy, hoppy, New England IPAs. Bonus points for Mosaic. Nelson, Galaxy, and Simcoe are top contenders as well.
    Tree House beer is phenomenal.
I like a good, true, crisp, tart saison, or even better, a Grisette. Not pilsy or wheaty ones.
I adore a good wild ale of any sorts, with or without fruit, and I even have a special place for kettle sours and goses.
Big, thick, sweet bourbon barrel aged stouts are near and dear to me. Really, anything that has spent time in a barrel appeals to my senses. BCBS and Bell's BA Expo are my current favorites. Curmudgeon's Better Half is stellar.
Lambics, Guezes, and other old world sour ales are great. Fruited or not.

I absolutely adore Mature Scotch Whisky. Highland, Islay, and especially Port or Sherry cask finished offerings. Unfortunately, I cannot afford Scotch, so I can no longer drink it. The easiest way to win over my heart is to gift me a bottle of Scotch. Really mature, oaky, complex rye whiskey and bourbon are up there too. Mmmm. Port-finished Single Malt Irish whiskey is a lot of fun (Bushmills 16 anyone?)
    Aberlour
    Bruichladdich
    Bunnahabbain
    Caol Ila
    Glenmorangie
    Mature Glenfiddich
    Highland Park
    Laphroaig
    Lagavulin
    Oban

    Whistlepig*
    High West
    Rhetoric
    Van Winkle
    Weller
    Colonel Taylor
    Michter's
    Bookers

I dislike many lagers, pilsners, thin porters, West Coast/old school malty, bitter IPAs. I like 'em soft and juicy.
I'm not a huge fan of many common German styles, but I need to experiment more. Not a huge fan of Belgian Triples or Quads. Hefeweizens and Witbier completely turn me off. I really don't like wheat. Don't care for super dry stouts.

    Some favorite breweries are:
    Allagash
    Battery Steele
    Bissell Brothers
    Definitive
    Foundation
    Founders
    Goose Island
    Sierra Nevada
    Tired Hands
    Tree House*
    Trillium

    Breweries I'm dying to try
    Alchemist
    Alvarado Street
    Firestone Walker
    Grimm
    Hill Farmstead
    Monkish
    Perennial
    Prarie
    Hudson Valley
    Jester King

...man, I need way more time to think about this

    Breweries I don't care for
    Baxter
    Shipyard
    Geary's
    B/M/C

I like pinto noir and good cab or merlot
My whale of wine is 2016 Peay Scallop Shelf Pinot Noir
I dislike white wine and rosé
I enjoy port of all kinds
    I dislike Madeira
    I enjoy brut champagne
    I dislike vodka
    I enjoy cognac
    I dislike flavored "whiskey"
    I enjoy vanilla ice cream
    I dislike chocolate ice cream
    I enjoy Pink Floyd
    I dislike Justin Bieber

I enjoy spending time with good company, meeting new people, laughter, love, and good times.

    Let's be friends

    Cheers!
