Beer didn't become a passion of mine until I realized there was more to a beer than just a good buzz. There is complexity and time in a beer that always comes through in the flavor, the mouthfeel, and the subtle finesse of rare or bold ingredients that is equally important as the way it makes you feel. At times I sit in amazement at the intensity of the bite of certain hops in an IPA or the ability of a smoky stout to conjure my emotions and send my imagination to the ends of the fields and farms where the chocolate malt or dark grains were first donned. The more that I drink, the more that I know and my pallet expands along side my experience. My quest is to find and taste the best of the best. From coast to coast and one country to the next, I want to try them all! Best part is I'll never get to try every beer ever made, but I can certainly make an attempt.
