    Enjoying an Aventinus. First time I've had this and I'm sad to have the empty glass in front of me. I wrote up some notes. The verdict? Loved it! I really let this one sit so that I could get to know it. Wonderful beer.

    And most importantly, nice tasting - nothing to knock the big boys from the top of the hill, but nothing to scoff at either - medley of hops flavors and aromas (pine, resin, citrus) and fresh, clean malts. Reminded me of an old ale meets an IPA. Very drinkable - and the little cans (8 oz) pack a wallop (11.5 abv). :grinning: Cheers!
