Arrogant Bastard homebrew clone , been in the bottle for 2 months , finally got some head to it and the flavor is close , so no complaints , my best most complex homebrew yet

 

Drinking a Don De Dieu that I'd tucked away since December. First try and I'm much impressed by this showing of Belgan Triple Wheat.

Haha, yeah. It only gets harder the higher you go. E-5 isn't quite so bad, 6 is a big step as you eliminate higher tenure. I think E-7 is the single biggest promotion amongst enlisted ranks, no matter the branch. Not sure if I want to put in that much time, but I also have an urge to one day wear the anchors.

 

Just opened my second to last can of On the Wings of Armageddon. Somehow, it looks much, much better even than it did early on. The head on this bitch is phenomenal.

Anyway, long day filled with theory paper writing, job applying, student correspondence, and then a potlatch. Like a Boasian-traditional Kwakiutl potlatch (kinda). It was sweet, I walked away with a Tibetan Buddhist chalice and carved wooden mask, among other things.

No pictures tonight, on the road and all on tap....earlier, enjoyed a Barrier Brewing D-IPA (a great local beer where I'm at on Long Island right now), then a Stone Enjoy By, followed by two Lagunitas Waldo's Special which really blew me away and got a growler of Waldo to take home, a really enjoyable beer!

One hell of a hockey game tonight. Now just channel surfing drinking some Clown Shoes.

 

Figure it out as you go, I wowed to get out after 4, toyed with taking a buy-out at 12 years, but ended up sticking for 26. Hawaii, Germany & Colorado were my last 3 assingments, so that might've altered my views on the military a bit. Odell IPA now with a Mother's Spring Offering Farm House ale (psuedo-saison) on deck..
