I've only got regular glasses, some Weizens, and glass mugs. Still need some snifters. But, I normally change glasses only if I'm having another brand of beer. Other that I just do the ol' cold water and air dry.

I usually use a different clean glass with each beer.

I rinse thoroughly with piping hot water (no soap), then let the glass cool and drip dry while I pick out my next beer. I never use soap in my beer-only glassware -- just hot hot water and thorough rinsing.

I'm kinda anal about my glass being clean, but that being said it depends on a few factors. If it's the exact same beer (not same style) then I don't bother washing/rinsing I will just pour another. If it's the same style, but a different beer I'll rinse out the glass, let it air dry and then continue my drinking excursion. If it's a different style, I'll put the old glass to the side (if I'm drinking a few I don't feel like washing glasses all night...) and grab a new one.

Of course spit shine never hurt a beer glass..............I think.

Rinse Glass every time or switch glasses depending on the style of the next beer

For whatever reason I immediately thought "This person is from Pennsylvania"...

That said, if I'm drinking the exact same beer again, I don't bother to rinse the glass. Seems pointless in such a case. If I'm switching beers, depending on the style of the next one, I'll either rinse out my current glass with hot water or find a clean, style-appropriate glass.

I try to avoid ever washing my beer glasses with soap.

Depends. Was the first beer nasty? If yes, get a new glass. If not, use the old one.

If there's a style switch, generally I rinse with water
