I do agree with you about the Bruery the were showing off last year! As far as that list goes its got a lot of ipas showing and although I love them I really appreciated the diversity last year.

yeah the 'assortment of specialty bottles' was what the bruery did last year, and that worked out pretty well.

I wouldn't be surprised if Alpine shows up with the city beer store anniversary ipa. That's a complete guess, but the timing is about right and it seems like that could be pretty close conceptually to what the full pint suggested (different bar's anniversary dipa and whatnot).

agreed, also, that hopefully they're wrong about surly, but hopefully they're right about sierra nevada, a BA maple coffee stout sounds awesome.

I think this year's announced beers look much better when compared to last year, and I'm sure it will be very similar to last year with plenty of surprises also. If I could complain about any brewery, it would have to be Odell considering they announced St. Lupulin and Friek last year.

Both of the Surly beers are low ABV. I'd expect them to bring something a bit heavier also.

I have lots of great beer to bring, several BA versions from 3 FFF, don't think the coughing will help you. Come down for Darkness Day and you're all set.

Personally I'm stoked for what's Surly's bringing. Bitter just got released and is one of my favorite session beers and Schandenfreude is one of the few Surly beers I've never gotten to try and is a lot more rare than Darkness.

I understand way people would want a higher ABV beer but that is not the concept of the Fest - one session beer one rare beer, not one session beer one super high gravity barrel agend beer

Hope this partial list is not only unsanctioned but incorrect. Not particularly excited for anything listed there except the NB Peach Lounger in peach whiskey barrel w/ lacto. Really hoping Sun King will bring one of their array of Pappy aged maltier beers.

Unsanctioned, incorrect or otherwise, I'm downright giddy just to be trying anything from some of these West Coast breweries I only hear stories about back home. I'm sure there will be plenty of happy surprises too. Omar Ansari of Surly has yet to disappoint at any fest he (and I) have attended.
