    BA's,

I'll be coming to San Fran with my wife Wednesday. We'll be staying at the Union Square Marriott SF at 500 Post Street - Corner of Post and Mason 94102.

Like I did a couple of weeks ago in LA, I went to Beverage Warehouse and the El Segundo Whole Foods to pick up some stellar beer to bring back with me. I plan to do the same in SF, of course.

Where's the good liquor stores/groceries to check out? How about best local bars for craft brews?

I'll also be going to Russian River. Do they sale bottles there, and if so, which ones should I get?

    Thanks!

Grocery stores in San Francisco are legally forbidden to sell beer.

C'mon, people ask such lazy questions, at least make these threads interesting.

Gordon Biersch San Jose is a world-class beer destination.

If I could only have one brewer's beers for the rest of my life, it would be a three-way tie between Thirsty Bear, Devil's Canyon, and Southern Pacific.

Honestly, I'm for it. There are like 10 "I'M GOING TO CALIFORNIE GUUYYYYYSSSSSSS" threads on the front page right now, is everyone so lazy that they can't just look for the other ones?

Is Southern Pacific that bad? I was let down by Social, but please let Southern Pacific have good beer, if not good food.

I like the Paella at Thirsty Beer, their beer sucks.

I'll put it this way: it's wonderful that Southern Pacific has an ample number of guest taps. Food isn't bad.

Hey! We in Texas aren't fortunate enough to have brewers sale out of their breweries.
