Allagash, great lost bear, RSVP (store with great craft beer section and terrific prices).

The butthurt on their Facebook page is staggering. Shaun Hill might be able to work magic with beer, but he isn't Zeus.

Oh my god, that thread is horrible. People talking about how pissed they are for traveling hours upon hours from outside of the region literally have no clue what it's like up there now, and maybe don't know what it's like to get up those backwoods Greensboro roads on a normal day.

It was pretty shortsighted of Shaun to not have built an ark to transport the beer across the floodwaters on. The people need their .rar beer, dammit!

If u still want to continue stop by Prohibition Pig and have a few HF and Lawson's on tap. Ephraim and Heady Topper are gone but everything else is still on.

So Irene effed up the Alchemist two years ago. Two-plus feet of snow forced the Bros to postpone EBF in Boston this year. And now we have this bottle released postponed. What did New England ever do to piss off the beer gods so much?

We take out of state ID's, actually know something about the beer we sell, and give discounts on mix & match 4 and 6 packs. And we have super fresh Marshall Wharf Cant Dog right now.

yeah, the guys are try everything. not their fault and I'm sure they feel bad.

if it's not the weather, it's the frigging crowds. half of these things turn into sh*tshows. just stock the brewery
and local stores and let people have at it. these festivals suck.

Absolute bummer for those that traveled for the festival and especially just for the bottle release... but welcome to Vermont folks. The weather can be absolutely extreme at a half-days notice.

There are flood warnings and watches all over northern Vermont and the last thing that should be encouraged is travel throughout the state.

I feel really bad for any of those people not use to Vermont weather who are camping tonight. I'm about 20 minutes southeast of HF and the ground is covered in snow here.

I'm sure the people of Greensboro will be very happy Shaun postponed. Those dirt roads can't handle any traffic with this amount of rain.

Great, all this means is the price for trading for HF just went up.

I think what happened is that all of its best breweries decided not to distribute their best beers to where I live. I mean, I need Allagash Coolships, HF bottles, and Heady just sitting on my stores' shelves. Plus HF on tap anywhere I go. Once that happens, I'm pretty sure New England will have made up for insulting the beer gods
