It's likely the specific store. Stores sell through product as different rates. Some store burn through stock while its weeks old, others, a month or two. To help you out in the future, SN uses a Julian code: first number is the last letter in the year (ie 3=2013) and the last three numbers is the day of the year it was bottled (ie 112=April 22nd).

    Cheers!

Yeah, it's not everyone's cup 'o tea, 'tis a Beasty fella...I LOVE IT though, it came & went Super fast in my area of NE Ohio. I wish it were available all year 'round. But I understand what you're saying. (It) & Hoptimum are "my" 2 Favorites of the Sierra lineup, so I was Super excited & a bit shocked that it was there, but it was on a side of town that it probly wasn't very popular either..which I'm sure is why.

Yes that is a WORLD CLASS BEER! There is something similar in WI, Ale Asylum Bedlam if you ever have the chance to try it, though it is a Citra IPA with Belgian yeast.

Adam Batch 82. Not sure of the age exactly. I picked it up in 2011. I am sure that it is freakin delicious.

New DIPA from a local brewery.. It's okay, a bit too sweet, and not quite there on the aroma, but drinkable none the less.

Then moved to something with some more uumphf.. Homebrewed Kern River Citra DIPA. Fuckin good.
