Just opened Midnight Sun/Black Raven collaboration Sun of a Beak: an imperial porter brewed with birch syrup, molasses and toasted coconut, aged in bourbon oak barrels. Cheers!

Definitely get the mandarin orange, but I'm not detecting the peppercorn. It's a touch sweet for me, but not too shabby. I liked the quad with plums much better.

I've had many beer tastings but not sure any of them measure up to this one.
Myrcenary, Heady, Pliny, Sucaba, Clown Shoes Galactica, Kane Antead, Devil Dancer, RR Damnation, NEBC Imperial Stout Trooper and a couple of Homebrews. And we saved the good stuff for tomorrow!!! All in all a pretty good night with some fellow NJ BA's. Cheers!!!
