I'm looking for both bottles. Do you see this getting done or something around this getting done:

    FT:
    Choc Rain '13
    BA Kopi+reg Kopi
    St. Lam
    ...+KBS and a 12oz Black Note

I have stuff to sub out for certain beers, but is that around what a deal is going for. If you have either of those let me know and maybe we could even work something out from here.

    Just my opinion but no.

I guess I should take it there and just see what happens, but I really wanted to see where this kinda stood before doing so.

In my opinion it won't get done.

That said, next year there will be more MD and KBBS, so you may want to wait a year instead of paying a premium right now for it.

It'll still be crazy limited. But it should be more than 300 bottles. Off the top of my head, I'd guess maybe 700-1000 bottles of each? Especially after seeing the demand for it, I can't imagine it'll be too difficult to triple production on it since it was such a small batch to begin with. I may be completely wrong though, but I think it's safe to assume there will be more to go around next year.

Keep in mind though, only 240 people showed up for the 300 bottle release of KBBS this year. I think it will be a few years yet before we see that kind of bottle count.

Do you think there'll be an increase in count at all next year?

Apparently the going rate is now BADL.

The problem isn't only the low bottle count, but the beer ACTUALLY delivers. It's awesome...both MD and KBBS. I'd rather keep mine and drink them than trade them...even for quantity.

I'm sure those TG beers are great, but you're essentially offering $5 an ounce for them. Congratulations, you're a baller!

A trade involving MD and KBBS for a BADL? Do you know which BADL it was?

Well I' put up a ISO/FT offered more than I stated before and the crickets are chirrping. It's all good. Ill wait. I don't have a BADL to offer and if I did I would drink it cause BADL is fantastic!

Not sure to be honest. TG's slogan is "Big beers brewed in small batches" so we might not see anything to huge in the bottle count department.

I think the lack of KBBS available for trade has more to do with the lack of people that got more than 1. Out of the 240 that showed up...I would say maybe 75 - 90 people got multiples. That makes the trade market for them pretty tough, not only do you need someone with multiples to see it...but they have to want what you are offering.

The other thing to remember is TG ages their beer until it is READY. They don't age for 6 months and expect you to finish it. I imagine KBBS is already brewed and aging.

Drank both last night, they are amazing. My buddy is trading two BADL, one being a vanilla for 2x Assassin, 2x KBBS, a Mornin Delight, and some IPA'S from TG. I've had all of this years BADLs, and these TG beers are just better tasting IMO. Another one of my friends is getting a KBBS for a brandy Huna (don't see that happening as often though). I think the OPs offer is more than fair, and all great tasting beers. Unfortunately given the hype (well deserved), and bottle count, its going to take some heavy hitters to pry these beers away from people.

How is that different than what's claimed about every flavor-of-the-month release? Has anyone in the history of BA ever come on to the forums and said, "Yeah, sure there were only 200 bottles of this made, but it's kinda shitty so I'm willing to let it go cheap"?

You are right, next years Kentucky Brunch is already aging. That said, I'm working on sourcing more fun barrels and if all works well with barrel procurement, there may be more brewed yet this year. That said, brewed this year means we're still a long ways from seeing more bottled. Last year, Kentucky Brunch lasted at our taproom for a couple weeks. This year, it was obviously different.

I wish I could tell everyone when things will be released further out in advance, but beer is ready when it's ready. Thanks to everyone who has been supporting us and I hope you all can visit us in the future!

    Cheers,
    Mike
