Beer plans for the rest of the summer?

    So after months of really just reading literature, tasting beer, and a bit of trading, I'm finally going to get in on some real action. I have just found out that I am going on a beer venture within the month.
    I will be visiting Pfriem and Logsdon while making my trip to Portland next month, Hitting up some of Portland's breweries, Hitting up the international beer fest in Portland, visiting fort George in Astoria ( as well as collecting some beers I cant get in good ol Spokane) and paying the hop fields in the Willamette valley a visit!. I am seriously jumping for joy right now. I know this pales in comparison to some of your plans.. so share them!

    Road trip to VT for Heady Topper & hoping to find some Lawson's. A couple of nights in NH and then home with a store in MA on the itinerary for the trip home. Then somehow making room in the beer fridge for all the new goodies.

    Good for you! Enjoy and post pics so we can live vicariously through you.

    Going to try and head out to Colorado this fall. It's been a few years and I'm feeling the itch!

    I'll, of course, be trying as much beer as possible. Hoping to meet up with some cool people that are willing to travel. There is a two week break in the middle of the course and I want to visit Belgium!

    Going to Charleston and Asheville in July for a family trip, hoping to go to Great Taste of the Midwest in August. thats about all.

    Planning to brew twice a week, learn Berliner Weisse, perfect Albier and other favorite styles, and drink plenty of refreshing homebrew.

    If you have a chance, after tiring of the fourteen awesome sours Cascade has on tap at any given time, go across the street to the Green Dragon. They have a great selection of beers and a tasty catfish po'boy (high praise coming from a [originally] mid-western boy!).

    Sorry to bombard you with suggestions OP, but I would be remiss not to recommend the Upright Brewing tasting room in Portland. With that, I'm finished (maybe).

    I plan to get back into homebrew after a 1 year hiatus due to my move to South Florida. Luckily, I have some temp control devices so I can make some refreshing lagers. Never tried them but hope to make some nice, hoppy pilsners.

    Beer tasting for my birthday this Saturday!!!! I have 2004 BA Speedway Stout, KBS, Parabola, BA Siberian Night, Wulver, Bodhi, and a bunch of other stuff lined up. Then I'm checking out the beer scene in Wilmington N.C the week after that. There is also loose talk of a trip into Vermont to get Heady Topper.
