No, I've never even considered buying a single bottle of beer for that much.

I can vividly remember looking at a 6 pack of Long Trail in the grocrey store for $11 and thinking who the hell is going to pay that when Budwieser is $4.99. Boy that was a long time ago. Now my preferred style is sours and I don't think twice about dropping $15 on a 375ml of Elaborative #1 from HF. Thank god its limited to 2 per person, and I never, ever, let myself due the math on what that works out to for a 6 pack :grimacing:.

I just paid 13.99 shipping included for a Speedway stout and I am still an awe considering I can get Imperial stouts for half the cost but considering the rating I gave it a go. That and my local shop charges 20+ for the same bottle.

I regularly try to keep it 5 dollars 12oz or 10 dollars for a bomber respectively regardless of the rare.

Still does... 10 bucks is usually my limit unless I really, really want the beer.

I remember my first bottle of $10 beer was DFH WW Stout in 2003. I caught a lot of heat from the gf (now wife) on that one.

Oh, just under $90, and you probably already knew, just didn't want to admit it.

Yeah, Sacramento area Savemarts have the Stone IPA for $3.29, Bel-Air and Raleys with the Wooky for $3.79. Alternatively, BevMos with the WJ for 2/$10. I must have purchased a good 10 bottles of Wookey over the last two months at the Bel-Air on the way home from work.

I may be part of the minority, but I doubt I'll ever get to the point that $15 for a beer DOESN'T give me a pause. I have no problem paying good $ for good beer, but it's gotta be world class for me to spend even close ot that for a bottle.

Call me cheap, but there are enough damn good beers at much lower prices than that. I will usually stick to those.

Pause? No, not really. I don't even think twice before not buying that bottle.

I think the 2013 batch is really good, but I generally think the Bruery does a nice job with their sours.
