    Yeah....ill be getting at least a few bottles of this. And hopefully more Love Child! It is still all over shelves surprisingly

    I don't understand why that is/was disparaged so much. Just because it's not super-sour and/or isn't redolant of Eau de Seabiscuit doesn't mean it's lacking.

    I guess, myself included, many see Sierra Nevada AND Russian River on the same label and we instantly have mega expectations. Not necessarily sour expectations (although I was guilty of that), but at least something potentially bar-raising. While being an above average brew, it was completely boring and 'safe', imho.

    When I see Boulevard and SN on the same label, I feel the same way. Setting myself up for fail? probably.

    IMHO, just as lackluster. Such a shame given the two breweries.

    i think brux was pretty darn tasty have a bottle im going to sit on for a while talked to sierra nevada at beervanna fest they told me to let it age a while and the sour will open up a lilttle more

    You should have waited. I had a BRUX about a month ago and it was drinking fabulously.

    Started to hit Chicago this week. Bought a few bottles and I think it is pretty solid. One of the better beers I've had this year.

    Had this the other night with a couple friends. It was so over carbonated that I almost could not drink it. Anyone else experience this as well?
