    Home brewed Golden Strong fermented with Whitelabs Trappist yeast, easy drinking even 9%. A bit cloudy from accidentally pouring in some east but surprisingly crystal clear otherwise.

    Had a Rubaeus while firing up the charcoal grill. That went down real nice. Grilled some grass-fed NY strip for me, and a Ribeye for the misses, along with some Organic sweet corn from Cali. Had this with my meal. First time I've had this, and really not much of a Rauchbier fan, but hot damn this is tasty...perfect complement to a medium rare steak...It's been a long while since I've had anything non-American craft.
