    Just got back from the Southern Tier Brewing Company, place is ridiculous and they had some amazing beer I've never heard of on tap. going down the line:

    Had a fresh 2x IPA on tap

    then moved to a 2x Stout on a nitro tap (holy shit that was great)

    then moving to an unearthly, which blew my effing mind

    Needless to say I'm going back Friday for a second round, so much awesomeness on tap I didnt get

    Once I got home I opened a fresh

    and am now drinking a

    In my new Southern Tier tulip :grinning:

    First ever beer from this brewery. Vivant Contemplation. Reminds me a lot of GI Matilda. That's a very good thing in my book. (Does Michigan have a bad brewery?)

    Beautiful beer. Tons of coffee and great, creamy mouth. Bitter cocoa and a tad bit of funky yeast pokes through. Alcohol is well hidden.

    Perennial Homefront IPA (tap)
    Brewed with oranges & then aged on Louisville Slugger bats, cool story on the beer & gotta love drinking for charity!!!

    Yeah, it is dark. I'd call it a black IPA (listed in BA as an American Black Ale). Pretty well balanced with dark roasted malt and strong hop profile. Apparently "Weez" and "Another One" use the same hop bill but different malts (dark vs light). I have not yet found "Another One" in stock so can't comment on difference in flavor.

    I am jealous of a lot of the beers I see in this thread. I am drinking some Marshall Wharf Cant Dogs tonight. I do have to say if you are in Maine you should definitely pick a couple up they are delicious. Sorry no picture.
