    The CW BBSA is fresh and the bourbon contribution is excellent. The Backwoods bourbon has mellowed but the base is so delicious...looking forward to November, it's all about football, turkey, and Backwoods!

    Had a piece of stale baguette in the kitchen so naturally I had seared foie gras on crostini lightly drizzled with bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. Surprisingly this went rather well with FW Union Jack, though something slightly sweeter or maltier may have been a tad better. Happy IPA day!

    Oh and no offense to anybody who thinks foie gras production is inhumane, this is not my normal Thursday night meal (but it is a delicious meal)
