    Spent the morning starting to cut down the over sized arborvitae that I thought the wife wanted cut down around the deck. Well 3 in and she comes back from shopping and FLIPS OUT! I was cutting down the wrong one's, because I don't listen. Oh well, I cut the correct one's down and enjoyed a tasty CCB Florida Cracker with dinner. All's well that ends well!

    christmas before thanksgiving irks me
    christmas before halloween blows
    pumpkin brew when it's 90 out
    before the regular season starts
    creates a cognitive dissonance
    but if it's delicious why wait

    this is not a summertime brew and while enjoying every sip
    it is hot and too soon < double meaning

    Just back form a Philly weekend where i had PTE, Blind Pig and many other great beers. Stopped at Tired Hands on the way home for a growler fill of "Phantom with 3 Different Colored Eyes." Amazing!!!! I am not saying it's the best beer I ever had but I can't say its' not either.

    Popped an Affligem Tripel to wind down a warm day while I cook dinner, clean, and write. This is pretty delicious too. Lots of the flavors I like to get out of the style with next to no booze detectable.

    Chip's is a killer bottle shop in Kill Devil Hills, NC (Outer Banks). If you ever find yourself nearby, it's a must-stop!
