Onto the Double Double Barrel Ale!

 

So damn refreshing. Perfect pour of my Jack's Abby Leisure Time Lager

Not bad for what it is:

 

Shit, this stuff is delicious. Just a hint of Brett and tons of tropical fruits.

 

Latitude 33 Camel Corps IPA. A little buttery, not too bad.

 

Started out the morning with some chicken and waffles with Aventinus


then moved onto Chocolate City for their Pilsner on tap. My friend is one of the assistant brewers there so I got the hook ups


Then we moved onto 3stars where we enjoyed this list of awesome


while bullshitting with one of the owners. Told them it was my birthday tomorrow and they hooked me up with a full snifter of the Peppercorn Saison (damn delicious)



After I ate 4 bags of chips and finished my beer we left for Meridian Pint where I had a Stillwater Stateside Saison with Falafel and cous cous



Went back to Churchkey with my buddy and had an Avery IPA, DogZilla, Stone's Coconut APA (fucking great), Port City's Wit and a giant glass of water



All 'n all not a bad day.. Have some whalez lined up for tomorrow too. Can't wait!

First pumpkin ale of the year.

Normally this is one of my favorite pumpkin beers next to DfH Punk and Pumking, but the mouthfeel is really lacking in this years batch. Tastes as good as ever, but I don't remember it being this thin.

 

Rounding out the Dogfish day, ending with this...I liked this pretty well. Grape and hops play nice together.

 

Nitecapping with Founders Devil Dancer, in my Devil's Backbone goblet, and my fav Entemann's doughnut.

 

Only 14.39$ for 12 pack with ole kroger card and only 3 wks old.

I am in the minority here, but this is a really nice brew. All around well balanced caramel/toasted malts with earthy hops and fruity yeast esters. Super drinkable as well, the glass was gone sooner than I would like to admit.


Damn good Belgian DIPA. Really similar to the tramp stamp too, and I'd probably go as far as saying its the same beer with more base malt. Really tasty.


Listening: Holy crap this album is technical as all hell. Way better than Agony IMO off the first listen.
