Helps to prevent bottles opening during shipping. That is all I know. Maybe a more veteran shipper can expand on this.

 

I was thinking residue would be an issue, but who drinks from the bottle anyways, right?

 

I use electrical tape. Gets the job done with no residue on the bottles. I use it to contain any possible leaks that may happen during shipping.

 

yes, the tape prevents leakage in case something should happen during shipping. some say to use electrical tape (i assume for the residue), but im sure either is fine. im not an overly experienced trader, but its what ive read in a blog before.

My target wants a beer from the Midwest that I happen to have, so it's going in the box. And I hope my target likes watching Breaking Bad (doesn't really matter if you like the show or not, your getting the beer anyway!), a growler of each of the Marble Breaking Bad beers are going in! I'm planning on shipping Wednesday.

 

Main Box is out 300 something ounces and about 1/3 of has some type of barrel aging. Should land Thursday I think. The box with your real swag item should be out at the end of the week, hopefully. If there isn't a Ivy League school in your state this box isn't going to you.
