I won't lie, they still find their way into a mix sixer when I see one I haven't tried...guess I'm just optimistic I'll hit gold like a prospector...

While we're on that metaphor--it's all pyrite, Fool's Gold.
PS: I want to mention once again that I'm absolutely amazed that Leinie gets away with murder while people are pouring hate on Blue Moon and GI. Leinie is awful and BMC! And yet, people make jokes about the Lemon Shandy, but won't badmouth the rest of the brand. I just don't get it. Top-shelf hypocrisy.

Peeper $4.99 in VT. Not bad for a 16 oz bottle.

Del Ducato, Troll, Birra del Borgo, Meontegioco, basically any and all Italian breweries. Their beers aren't life altering yet they'd like to price you out of the park for a $12 brown ale.

I agree. I'd put Sofie and Matilda at one of the best deals in craft beer. Not at all overpriced.

Green Flash now with the 4 packs. Sorry to keep harping on it. I love it but I rarely buy it now.

I've never seen Peeper going for that price anywhere. Even in Maine! That's right about what it should cost. Sounds like you found yourself a good shop. However, in a perfect world, Peeper would cost $3.99 (or even less). Jack's Abby Hoponious Union costs $2.89 at my local shop. Same size bottle. Not trying to be a wise guy, just sayin'.

Isnt part of the reason they are so expensive here in the US due to the fact that they are imported though?

How does that justify the fact that they are more expensive than most Belgians? And the same goes for the French and Italian beers that BMC bring here, like Fischer. Kronenbourg--another Alsacian beer (owned by Carlsberg)--used to be quite common in these parts as late as mid-1990s, but then disappeared and now we only get the NA version. It used to be considerably cheaper than Fischer--you used to be able to get a 6-pack of Kronenburg for less than a single half-liter poptop of Fischer.

Germans are priced very affordably. What's the Italians excuse?

I really love Allagash Coolship beers but $15 for a 375 ml bottle is just too much. I can spend $5 more and get twice the amount of a sour (Bruery) or pay $3-4 less and get a better sour (Russian River).

Most Mikkeller stuff is mediocre at best. Hoppin Frog is overpriced, which is sad because its a local for me and their beers are solid, but I can't justify paying for most them when there are better and less expensive brews to try.

I do enjoy their beer a lot, but at $12 a 4 pack I rarely buy it.

I always found Allagash Tripel and Dubbel 750ml a great deal at $8-9 around me compared to other Belgian style offerings in the same category, and they are world class.
