    Picked this one up on a whim and when I got it home & looked at the limited reviews I was expecting it to be pretty bad. Not at all. Pretty enjoyable actually!

    Barrel aged Raven Tor oatmeal stout at Figure 8 in Valparaiso, Indiana. Thin, one dimensional, all barrel, not much else. Passed on buying a bottle.

    Started my day with this for beer review #381. Goose Island 25th Anniversary Ale.
    Bottled on May 14, 2013, which was coincidentally my 25th birthday this year.
    And the bottleneck says Established May 13, 1988. I guess Goose Island Beer Co. is one day older than me. :grimacing:

    And now this for beer review #382. Mikkeller Yeast Series: American-Style.
    Listed as retired, and the last review was written one year ago today.
    The beer has held up just fine, I'd say.

    Just made a batch of fresh salsa with everything straight from the garden. Time to relax with a local refreshment. Its oktoberfest time but feels like July. 90 degrees here and humid today.
